Every Bridge group began with a handful of neighbours and a library, church, school or community hall.

Gather 15 people
Ask neighbours to register on this site and choose your area. A group needs at least 15 members before it can be formally approved.

Fewer than 15? Talk to the Team
A smaller group is possible, but it has to be discussed with the Bridge team and approved first. Tell us who you are and where, and we will arrange a conversation.

Choose three leaders
Elect a chairperson, secretary and treasurer. Each uploads a national ID, proof of residence and police clearance for verification.

Propose a hub
Pick a central, secure place with electricity or solar potential, and get the owner's written permission.

Compare quotes
Collect at least two ISP or equipment quotations and choose the best value.
